Paleo Chow - Day 6 {August 3}
It's Friday. And I was debating on cheat days but I think last night took care of that potential issue! Cheat day, NO.
Gathered and consumed the following:
2 bananas
3 cups coffee with sugar and half and half
Work work work.
Then I had to hit the road and drive 45 minutes to meet my dad at the VA for an emergency visit with the doctor. THIS is part of the reason why I am so trying to change my eating style....
Medium starbucks coffee with sugar and cream (that cost $1.85) Had to also give my dad something to eat to stabalize his blood sugars while testing for TWO hours ... (his strawberries, 6 total, were $1.65 ... I should have prepped a little better huh?)
Back to the office 2 1/2 hours later...

Busy busy busy. Work work work.
Home, at last. 6:30pm on a Friday night. Nothing is thawed for dinner and I've no clue what I want. But I am STARVING! So I had GOOD intentions:
Guacamole with a handful of tortilla chips
But then the kids showed up. And they were starving too. Not to mention Hubby. Uggg.
Pizza ... from Jets no less. 2 slices of the 8 corner pepperoni and cheese and 1 thin crust meaty stuff.

Yeah. That's what I ate today. Started off well but managed to starve myself during the daylight hours so when the evening came around I had NO willpower.
This weekend, I am making some grain free crackers to try with the guac. I think, hopefully, this might help me with my salt/crunchy cravings. I am also going to make the grain free biscuits with my girlfriend. Hers turned out horrible but not sure what recipe she used so we will do it together. She's not a 'cook' so to speak so that could be part of the problem. :)
