Something Sweetly Satisfying




Some days, I just want something sweet and satisfying ... but still healthy, grain free and pretty much Paleo ...

With simple ingredients, and all natural, not artificial sweeteners, this definitely fits the bill ... I normally will make this for a breakfast and it carries me over to past the usual lunch time hunger ...

Hopefully you've been peeling and freezing your bananas when they start to get a little too ripe ... that's what makes this nice and creamy.




Banana Nut Smoothies

2 frozen bananas
1 ripe pear, cut in half, seeds removed
1/4 cup raw nuts (not peanuts!), I used cashews (unsalted, unroasted)
1/2 cup water

Toss all of this in the Vitamix and let it rip for about 2 minutes or til smooth.




It's sweet, creamy and highly satisfying ... go ahead, give it a try!
